Auction result well in line with expectations
The work De Boomstronk by Theo Bitter was sold in the TWENTIETH CENTURY ART auction at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2002. The price achieved of EUR 2,031.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,800.00 – 2,200.00. Admittedly, works by Theo Bitter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Family Portrait, My Parents in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 10,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit De Boomstronk von Theo Bitter wurde im Mai 2002 in der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.031,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.800,00 – 2.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Theo Bitter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Family Portrait, My Parents im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.000,00.
