The work Herfst by Theo Bitter was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2011. It achieved a price of EUR 2,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Theo Bitter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Family Portrait, My Parents, which sold at auction in June 2014 for EUR 10,000.00.

Die Arbeit Herfst von Theo Bitter kam im März 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Theo Bitter mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Family Portrait, My Parents beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für EUR 10.000,00 versteigert wurde.
