Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Irises by Teddy Millington-Drake was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2010. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,297.14) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Teddy Millington-Drake - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Four views of Easter Island, South-East Pacific, including: Poke Volcano; Moais at Rano Raraku; Moais at Aku Aki; and Fallen Moai with Poke Volcano in the distance, which sold at auction in May 2008 for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,816.13).

Die Arbeit Irises von Teddy Millington-Drake kam im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.297,14) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00.
