In the Robert Kime - An Eastern Perspective, and Property from a Cotswold Manor House auction, the work Duck sold for GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,450.16) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Teddy Millington-Drake; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Four views of Easter Island, South-East Pacific, including: Poke Volcano; Moais at Rano Raraku; Moais at Aku Aki; and Fallen Moai with Poke Volcano in the distance sold at auction in May 2008 with the realized price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,816.13).
