Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Abstract composition in black, yellow and grey by Teddy Millington-Drake was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2010. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 937.50 (€ 1,080.95). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Teddy Millington-Drake - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Four views of Easter Island, South-East Pacific, including: Poke Volcano; Moais at Rano Raraku; Moais at Aku Aki; and Fallen Moai with Poke Volcano in the distance, which sold at auction in May 2008 for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,816.13).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 937,50 (€ 1.080,95) einen neuen Besitzer.
