Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mrs. Wyndham's Bedroom by Teddy Millington-Drake was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 500.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 625.00 (€ 529.08) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Teddy Millington-Drake have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Four views of Easter Island, South-East Pacific, including: Poke Volcano; Moais at Rano Raraku; Moais at Aku Aki; and Fallen Moai with Poke Volcano in the distance in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,816.13).

Die Arbeit Mrs. Wyndham's Bedroom von Teddy Millington-Drake kam im September 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 500,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 625,00 (€ 529,08) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
