In March 2017 Christies in London held the auction Post War & Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work You Belong Here by Tavares Strachan. The auction ended at the price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,438.03), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Tavares Strachan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work You Belong Here (blue) was auctioned for USD 37,500.00 (€ 35,504.64).

Im März 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit You Belong Here von Tavares Strachan zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.438,03) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Tavares Strachan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2015 die Arbeit You Belong Here (blue) für USD 37.500,00 (€ 35.504,64) versteigert.
