Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tacita Dean achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wake in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 133,250.00 (€ 165,673.00).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.530,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tacita Dean erzielen.
