Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Locust Trees (state II) by Sylvia Plimack Mangold was auctioned at Phillips in New York in June last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,512.00 (€ 1,444.26). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sylvia Plimack Mangold achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Floor With Light At 10:30 Am in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 101,461.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Locust Trees (state II) von Sylvia Plimack Mangold kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.512,00 (€ 1.444,26) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sylvia Plimack Mangold erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Floor With Light At 10:30 Am im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 101.461,04).
