Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Catherine s'espongeant by Suzanne Valadon was auctioned at Bonhams in January this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,275.00 (€ 1,174.25). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Suzanne Valadon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nu à la draperie in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 475,000.00 (€ 420,838.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Catherine s'espongeant von Suzanne Valadon kam im Januar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.275,00 (€ 1.174,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Suzanne Valadon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nu à la draperie im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 475.000,00 (€ 420.838,13).
