Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May this year Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Nu aux bas bleus by Suzanne Valadon. The »bidding war« ended at USD 138,600.00 (€ 130,091.98), 16% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Suzanne Valadon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nu à la draperie, which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 475,000.00 (€ 420,838.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nu aux bas bleus von Suzanne Valadon zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 130.091,98) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Suzanne Valadon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nu à la draperie beobachtet, die im November 2021 für USD 475.000,00 (€ 420.838,13) versteigert wurde.
