It achieved a price of USD 119,700.00 (€ 112,352.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 71%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Suzanne Valadon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nu à la draperie, which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 475,000.00 (€ 420,838.13).

Die Arbeit Nature morte au vase de fleurs von Suzanne Valadon wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 119.700,00 (€ 112.352,17) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 71%. Für andere Arbeiten von Suzanne Valadon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nu à la draperie beobachtet, die im November 2021 für USD 475.000,00 (€ 420.838,13) versteigert wurde.
