Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work 12996f (going on) by Suzanne McClelland for USD 4,800.00 (€ 3,567.98). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Part II at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Suzanne McClelland have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ideal Proportions: Squeeze - A Winning Hand in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,026.42).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 12996f (going on) von Suzanne McClelland für USD 4.800,00 (€ 3.567,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Part II bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Suzanne McClelland auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ideal Proportions: Squeeze - A Winning Hand im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.026,42).
