Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction The SAATCHI Edit, which included the work Domestic Terrorist; Dibee by Suzanne McClelland. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,355.00 (€ 6,055.76). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Suzanne McClelland - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ideal Proportions: Squeeze - A Winning Hand, which sold at auction in March 2021 for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,026.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The SAATCHI Edit durch, in der auch die Arbeit Domestic Terrorist; Dibee von Suzanne McClelland zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.355,00 (€ 6.055,76) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Suzanne McClelland mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ideal Proportions: Squeeze - A Winning Hand beobachtet, die im März 2021 für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.026,42) versteigert wurde.
