In February 2019 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Handle With Care, which included the work more by Suzanne McClelland. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,844.80), 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Suzanne McClelland have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ideal Proportions: Squeeze - A Winning Hand in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,026.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2019 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Handle With Care durch, in der auch die Arbeit more von Suzanne McClelland zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.844,80) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Suzanne McClelland auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ideal Proportions: Squeeze - A Winning Hand im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.026,42).
