Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Composition With Orange And Green 3 by Suzan Frecon. Here, the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 87,500.00 (€ 77,874.69). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Suzan Frecon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pompeiian persian, which sold at auction in September 2021 for USD 252,000.00 (€ 217,672.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition With Orange And Green 3 von Suzan Frecon zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 87.500,00 (€ 77.874,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Suzan Frecon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pompeiian persian beobachtet, die im September 2021 für USD 252.000,00 (€ 217.672,97) versteigert wurde.
