Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lahang (Palm Wine) by Sudjana Kerton was sold in the 20th Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 1,800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 1,890,000.00 (€ 224,383.56). Admittedly, works by Sudjana Kerton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Village Life in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 13,240,000.00 (€ 1,231,405.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lahang (Palm Wine) von Sudjana Kerton wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 1.800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 1.890.000,00 (€ 224.383,56) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sudjana Kerton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Village Life im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 13.240.000,00 (€ 1.231.405,91).
