Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sudjana Kerton could be acquired at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art auction, the work Jardin du Luxembourg, Paris changed hands for HKD 31,875.00 (€ 3,544.18) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sudjana Kerton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Village Life in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 13,240,000.00 (€ 1,231,405.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sudjana Kerton konnte im November 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Jardin du Luxembourg, Paris für HKD 31.875,00 (€ 3.544,18) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sudjana Kerton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Village Life im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 13.240.000,00 (€ 1.231.405,91).
