The work Balloon Seller by Sudjana Kerton was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Morning Session auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 937,500.00 (€ 108,732.64), 34% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sudjana Kerton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Village Life in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 13,240,000.00 (€ 1,231,405.91).

Die Arbeit Balloon Seller von Sudjana Kerton wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Morning Session bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 937.500,00 (€ 108.732,64) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sudjana Kerton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Village Life im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 13.240.000,00 (€ 1.231.405,91).
