Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Steven Sorman could be acquired at Christies in New York in February 2003 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Again Now changed hands for USD 597.50 (€ 554.32) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Steven Sorman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Change of heart", which sold at auction in May 2010 for SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,555.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Steven Sorman konnte im Februar 2003 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints and Multiples wechselte die Arbeit Again Now für USD 597,50 (€ 554,32) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Steven Sorman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Change of heart" beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.555,91) versteigert wurde.
