The auction ended at the price of USD 12,000.00 (€ 9,070.29), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Steve DiBenedetto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Splice, which sold at auction in May 2007 for USD 33,600.00 (€ 24,975.84).
