Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Colony by Steve DiBenedetto was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2016. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,447.05) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Steve DiBenedetto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Splice in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 33,600.00 (€ 24,975.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Colony von Steve DiBenedetto kam im September 2016 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.447,05) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Steve DiBenedetto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Splice im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 33.600,00 (€ 24.975,84).
