A top price for Stephen Bush - as previously expected
In May 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Part II, which included the work Tallow-wood by Stephen Bush. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,600.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Tallow-wood is the most expensive artwork by Stephen Bush that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2010 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tallow-wood von Stephen Bush zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 9.600,61) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Tallow-wood das teuerste Kunstwerk von Stephen Bush, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
