Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Gabriel'S Horn by Stephen Bush was sold in the CONTEMPORARY ART auction at Christies in Melbourne in June 2002. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 7,990.00 (€ 4,562.47). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stephen Bush - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tallow-wood, which sold at auction in May 2010 for USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,600.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Gabriel'S Horn von Stephen Bush wurde im Juni 2002 in der Auktion CONTEMPORARY ART bei Christies in Melbourne versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 7.990,00 (€ 4.562,47) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Stephen Bush mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tallow-wood beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für USD 11.875,00 (€ 9.600,61) versteigert wurde.
