Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction Studio Art, which included the work Pomme de Terre by Stephen Bush. The price achieved of USD 510.00 (€ 476.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stephen Bush achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tallow-wood in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,600.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion Studio Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pomme de Terre von Stephen Bush zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 510,00 (€ 476,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stephen Bush erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tallow-wood im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 9.600,61).
