This artwork by Stan Douglas achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in July 2020. In the Editions & Works on Paper auction, the work False Creek Flats, Vancouver sold for USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,017.16) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stan Douglas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Twenty-Five photographs from the Detroit Series (Part I): Home Beside Jefferson Junior High; Abandoned Apartment Building; Fox Creek; Private Park at Grosse Pointe Farms; Meadow and Golightly Education Center; Gem Theater, The Horseshoe, Paradise Val in November 2002 with an auction result of USD 71,700.00 (€ 72,190.
