The work Quatres espaces irréguliers by Sophie Taeuber-Arp was worth GBP 84,100.00 (€ 118,579.94) to a buyer in June 2015. This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Works on Paper Sale at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sophie Taeuber-Arp; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Composition dans un cercle blanc sur fond noir sold at auction in February 2019 with the realized price of GBP 187,500.00 (€ 218,725.28).
