The work 2nd composition by Sophie Taeuber-Arp was worth GBP 60,000.00 (€ 76,882.59) to a buyer in February 2016. This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Works on Paper at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sophie Taeuber-Arp - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition dans un cercle blanc sur fond noir, which sold at auction in February 2019 for GBP 187,500.00 (€ 218,725.28).

Die Arbeit 2nd composition von Sophie Taeuber-Arp war einem Käufer im Februar 2016 GBP 60.000,00 (€ 76.882,59) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Works on Paper bei Christies in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Sophie Taeuber-Arp mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition dans un cercle blanc sur fond noir beobachtet, die im Februar 2019 für GBP 187.500,00 (€ 218.725,28) versteigert wurde.
