Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Demi-cercle multicolore by Sophie Taeuber-Arp was auctioned at Christies in Paris in October last year. It achieved a price of EUR 9,450.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sophie Taeuber-Arp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition dans un cercle blanc sur fond noir in February 2019 with an auction result of GBP 187,500.00 (€ 218,725.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Demi-cercle multicolore von Sophie Taeuber-Arp kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 9.450,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sophie Taeuber-Arp erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition dans un cercle blanc sur fond noir im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 187.500,00 (€ 218.725,28).
