In the Impressionist & Modern Art Works on Paper and Day Sale Morning including The Analytical Eye: The Branco Weiss Collection auction, the work Construction Dynamique, Pénétration De Spirales Et Diagonales sold for GBP 62,500.00 (€ 72,948.69) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sophie Taeuber-Arp - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition dans un cercle blanc sur fond noir, which sold at auction in February 2019 for GBP 187,500.00 (€ 218,725.28).
