However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry George Rushbury - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hotel Bretonvilliers, Paris, which sold at auction in June 2006 for GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,083.66).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 480,00 (€ 700,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Für andere Arbeiten von Henry George Rushbury mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hotel Bretonvilliers, Paris beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.083,66) versteigert wurde.
