Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work An Italianate Lanscape by Henry George Rushbury was sold in the British and Continental Watercolours auction at Christies in London in March 2006. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 600.00 (€ 859.69), 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry George Rushbury - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hotel Bretonvilliers, Paris, which sold at auction in June 2006 for GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,083.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit An Italianate Lanscape von Henry George Rushbury wurde im März 2006 in der Auktion British and Continental Watercolours bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 600,00 (€ 859,69) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Henry George Rushbury mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hotel Bretonvilliers, Paris beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.083,66) versteigert wurde.
