Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Henry George Rushbury could be acquired at Sothebys in Olympia in July 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British & Continental Pictures including Sporting and Marine Paintings auction, the work Mullion changed hands for GBP 840.00 (€ 1,247.59) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Henry George Rushbury have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2006 by the work Hotel Bretonvilliers, Paris at GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,083.66).
