Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Great Bear by Simon Patterson was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day sale auction at Christies in London in February 2006. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 20,400.00 (€ 30,003.82). Other works by Simon Patterson have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 38,400.00 (€ 56,983.67) in June 2007 for the work The Great Bear.

Die Arbeit The Great Bear von Simon Patterson wurde im Februar 2006 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 20.400,00 (€ 30.003,82) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Simon Patterson haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 38.400,00 (€ 56.983,67) im Juni 2007 für die Arbeit The Great Bear beobachtet.
