Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Simon Patterson could be acquired at Christies in London in September 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open | Online auction, the work Black-List: Cast changed hands for GBP 750.00 (€ 846.29) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Simon Patterson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Great Bear in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 38,400.00 (€ 56,983.67).
