Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Part II, which included the work Untitled no. 106 by Simen Johan. The price achieved of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,356.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Simen Johan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled #153, from Until the Kingdom Comes, 2008 in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,961.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2010 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled no. 106 von Simen Johan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.356,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Simen Johan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled #153, from Until the Kingdom Comes, 2008 im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 33.961,24).
