Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled #153, from Until the Kingdom Comes, 2008 by Simen Johan was sold in the Photographs Including Property from the Museum of Modern Art auction at Christies in New York in October 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,097.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Simen Johan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled #153, from Until the Kingdom Comes, 2008, which sold at auction in October 2015 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,961.24).

Die Arbeit Untitled #153, from Until the Kingdom Comes, 2008 von Simen Johan wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Photographs Including Property from the Museum of Modern Art bei Christies in New York versteigert.
