In October 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work (Triangle 16) by Shio Kusaka. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,080.00 (€ 8,654.59), 44% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shio Kusaka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work (Line 65) in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 89,694.14).

Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit (Triangle 16) von Shio Kusaka zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.080,00 (€ 8.654,59) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shio Kusaka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit (Line 65) im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 89.694,14).
