Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pride And Prejudice by Shi Xinning was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in October 2012. The price achieved of GBP 46,850.00 (€ 58,249.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shi Xinning have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mao And Mccarthy in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 372,000.00 (€ 278,151.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pride And Prejudice von Shi Xinning wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 46.850,00 (€ 58.249,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shi Xinning auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mao And Mccarthy im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 372.000,00 (€ 278.151,64).
