Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unexpected Meeting-1 by Shi Xinning was sold in the Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 141,600.00 (€ 14,578.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shi Xinning achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mao And Mccarthy in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 372,000.00 (€ 278,151.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unexpected Meeting-1 von Shi Xinning wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 141.600,00 (€ 14.578,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shi Xinning erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mao And Mccarthy im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 372.000,00 (€ 278.151,64).
