This work without title by Shi Xinning was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 375,000.00 (€ 35,585.55), 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Shi Xinning have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mao And Mccarthy in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 372,000.00 (€ 278,151.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shi Xinning wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 35.585,55) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shi Xinning auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mao And Mccarthy im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 372.000,00 (€ 278.151,64).
