In May 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included this untitled work by Sheila Hicks. The »bidding war« ended at USD 60,000.00 (€ 49,204.53), 71% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sheila Hicks; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Soft Stone Fiber Sculpture Orange. sold at auction in June this year with the realized price of EUR 66,000.00.

Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sheila Hicks zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 49.204,53) und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sheila Hicks; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Soft Stone Fiber Sculpture Orange. im Juni diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 66.000,00.
