This artwork by Sante D'Orazio achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in April 2018. In the Photographs auction, the work Kat at Home, N.Y.C. sold for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,694.05) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sante D'Orazio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pam Grid #1, 2010 in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 99,750.00 (€ 75,751.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 96 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sante D'Orazio erzielte im April 2018 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographs wurde die Arbeit Kat at Home, N.Y.C. für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.694,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sante D'Orazio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pam Grid #1, 2010 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 99.750,00 (€ 75.751,82).
