In April 2018 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Frederique, St. Barths by Sante D'Orazio. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,348.19), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sante D'Orazio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pam Grid #1, 2010 in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 99,750.00 (€ 75,751.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im April 2018 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Frederique, St. Barths von Sante D'Orazio zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.250,00 (€ 4.348,19) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sante D'Orazio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pam Grid #1, 2010 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 99.750,00 (€ 75.751,82).
