Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chandra North, Oualidia, Morocco by Sante D'Orazio was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in April 2018. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,211.69) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sante D'Orazio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pam Grid #1, 2010 in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 99,750.00 (€ 75,751.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chandra North, Oualidia, Morocco von Sante D'Orazio wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.211,69) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sante D'Orazio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pam Grid #1, 2010 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 99.750,00 (€ 75.751,82).
