Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Cocktail Party by Sandy Skoglund was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,861.64). Admittedly, works by Sandy Skoglund have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Green House, 1990 in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 46,411.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Cocktail Party von Sandy Skoglund kam im Juli 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.861,64) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sandy Skoglund auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Green House, 1990 im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 46.411,86).
