Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Revenge of the Goldfish and 'Blaze' Sculpture by Sandy Skoglund was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 25,400.00 (€ 24,034.82) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Sandy Skoglund have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work The Green House, 1990 was auctioned for GBP 37,250.00 (€ 46,411.86).

Die Arbeit Revenge of the Goldfish and 'Blaze' Sculpture von Sandy Skoglund wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 25.400,00 (€ 24.034,82) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
