Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Sam Moyer was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in July 2021. The price achieved of USD 4,788.00 (€ 4,035.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sam Moyer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flo's Fern in September last year with an auction result of USD 42,840.00 (€ 43,790.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sam Moyer kam im Juli 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.788,00 (€ 4.035,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sam Moyer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flo's Fern im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 42.840,00 (€ 43.790,25).
