Auction result well in line with expectations
The work White Water I by Sam Moyer was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 5,040.00 (€ 4,291.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sam Moyer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flo's Fern in September last year with an auction result of USD 42,840.00 (€ 43,790.25).

Die Arbeit White Water I von Sam Moyer kam im März 2021 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 5.040,00 (€ 4.291,92) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sam Moyer erzielen.
