Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Worry Rug 5 by Sam Moyer was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in December 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,190.00 (€ 9,148.96), 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Sam Moyer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flo's Fern in September last year with an auction result of USD 42,840.00 (€ 43,790.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Worry Rug 5 von Sam Moyer wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.190,00 (€ 9.148,96) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sam Moyer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flo's Fern im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 42.840,00 (€ 43.790,25).
